We provide the highest international standards at all levels of our business from product testing to equipment procurement. We have our own custom concrete laboratory where we will be conducting Cube Testing and Cylinder Testing as well as Slump Testing to ensure compressive strength cylinders and cubes do not just meet international standards but exceed them.Our compressive strengths range, but are not limited to, 1500 to 10,000 PSI. We have the capacity to pour 80 cubic yards an hour, thus pouring 640 cubic yards a day. In addition, we offer all type of grout mixes, light weight/foam concrete, fibre reinforced concrete, temperature controlled concrete, coloured concrete, waterproof concrete, Sulphur resistant concrete and more to client’s request.

Types of concrete delivered

Quality Concrete, Delivered Fast

 

Foam concrete, also known as aircrete, is a type of lightweight concrete typically made by mixing water, cement and foam. Sand may also be included to make the mix stronger. The different components added to the mix will determine the strength and durability of the concrete.

Foamed concrete possesses characteristics such as high strength-to-weight ratio and low density. Using foamed concrete reduces dead loads on the structure and foundation, contributes to energy conservation, and lowers the labor cost during construction.

Fiber Reinforced Concrete is a composite material consisting of fibrous material which increases its structural integrity. It includes mixtures of cement, mortar or concrete and discontinuous, discrete, uniformly dispersed suitable fibers.

Providing concrete floors with early-age cracking resistance, fiber reinforcement can be used to replace conventional steel for temperature/shrinkage crack control and limited structural applications.

Macro fibre reinforced concrete can be used for Internal floors, external hard standings and car parks, industrial floors, airports, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.

Normal concrete is not fully waterproof. The terms can get confusing, but waterproof concrete is both damp-proof and watertight – this means that not only is soil moisture prevented from getting through to the concrete, but liquid water cannot penetrate it either.

Concrete waterproofing prolongs the lifespan of your building by limiting ways that water and moisture can enter through the ceiling, walls or floor. If these areas are well protected from water intrusion, the structure can avoid damage such as rust, rotting, corrosion and deterioration.

Temperature control over the process is crucial to sustaining efficiency and quality. It also prolongs the durability and efficiency of your structure.

Coloured concrete is used primarily for aesthetic reasons, being a fantastic alternative for producing attractive designs and creative concrete presentations. Colored cement can be used for sidewalks, driveways, garages, patios, and floors. It’s also used in commercial construction and landscaping projects.

 Another advantage is that the colors dont fade or wear away over time. Because the pigments are chemically stable, exposure to ultraviolet light and the weather wont cause the colors to fade. This means getting more time out of this colored concrete than some of the other types that are on the market today.

Sulfate Resisting Cement is a blended cement designed to improve the performance of concrete where the risk of sulfate attack may be present. This cement provides maximum resistance to chloride ions – minimising the risk of corrosion of reinforced steel.

We currently have a 40-ton cement silo and FRUEHAUF Cement Tanker Trailer with a capacity of 1,000 Cubic ft. Our stone, sand and cement are supplied locally by Guyana’s top suppliers. We have a full complement of trucks and specialized equipment to manage any sized project. Lifecrete’s flagship plant is in Friendship on the East Bank of Demerara.
